Medical Gas

CLEANED TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF BS EN 13348 AND HTM 02-01

Yorkshire Medical Gas Tubes are specially cleaned and packed to ensure they are suitable for medical gases and/or vacuum lines. In oxygen lines, spontaneous combustion can take place with any greases or hydrocarbon in the tube, and the cleaning process eliminates this risk. Additionally, the cleaning takes away malodours from any residual lubricants that may taint breathable gases.

DESIGN, INSTALLATION AND USE

All products should be designed, installed and used in accordance with appropriate specifications or codes of practice (e.g. HTM 02-01) and / or Yorkshire Copper Tube technical recommendations

Note ** BS EN 13348 only defines requirements for copper tubes in the range 12-54mm
